You season 5 Netflix You season 5 has arrived to end the series, but after a few days on top, it has been unseated by a show that tends to blow up the Netflix top 10 list every weekend. That would be WWE RAW, which usually takes the top spot 80% of the time, especially with the popularity of WWE increasing to levels never before seen here in 2025, with double-digit increases for this past Wrestlemania specifically. I do wonder if it’s a matter of time before Netflix starts buying actual PPVs to air with its unlimited content budget.
You season 5 has not exactly been the ultra-satisfying end fans have been hoping for, it seems. It has an 81% score from critics, solid, but the worst of the series. It has a much worse rotten 56% from fans.
The finale episode itself has an awful 5.8/10 on IMDB, which is the worst score of the series by a solid two points. That’s enough to make me not even bother, even if I’ve watched through season 4. I expect You may return to the top spot as RAW declines, though I won’t rule out that maybe the high-performing Ransom Canyon could reclaim it due to its staying power and seemingly positive word of mouth.
Ransom Canyon Netflix The actually very good seventh season of Black Mirror is staying at #5 right now, but there’s no word about a season 8 renewal yet. It’s not cheap, it’s full of A-listers, but Netflix seems to love it no matter what. It’s a pretty diverse group on the list.
Reality series Battle Camp and Chef’s Table are there. Documentaries Flight 3054 and Race for the Crown are near the bottom. Licensed series Young Sheldon has been planted in the top 10 list for a while after adding a new season.
Korean drama Weak Hero is doing well at #6 at present, and has a stellar 91% audience score. That’s certainly enough to get me to check it out. As for next month, I’m really looking forward to another season of Love, Death and Robots, the animated anthology which is always a fun ride.
Generally speaking, however, I’m not sure how many big shows there will be overall in May, but obviously things can break out and surprise everyone, so we’ll have to stay tuned to find out. Follow me on Twitter , YouTube , and Bluesky
