WWE An interesting update has emerged on Liv Morgan’s major Hollywood movie role, ending a big rumor about which film she’ll star in. Following reports that next week will be a big one for Morgan, and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion stating that she’s set to film for a “big Hollywood movie” on the April 28 Raw episode, reports revealed that Morgan will play a “major role”in the upcoming project. While this fuelled speculation that Morgan could be filming for Avengers Doomsday, which went into production recently.
Per PWInsider Elite, this is not the case, with Morgan NOT involved in Avengers Doomsday. The report noted that sources within Hollywood confirmed that the project is not a superhero film, with Morgan instead having a “major dramatic role.” One source described Morgan landing this role as “one of the most impressive ‘gets’ imaginable,” adding that it will be clear how prestigious this project is after the studio and caliber of other talent involved is revealed. Another source noted that this is the kind of opportunity which “could cement” Morgan as the next “it girl” in Hollywood if she and the project hit at the scale which has been internally predicted.
The film has reportedly been compared to The Raid, Everything Everywhere All At Once and Anora, the latter two of which are previous Academy Award Best Picture winners. Pointing out that Morgan is signed to Paradigm Talent Agency, PWInsider noted that talent, WWE, Paradigm and the film and TV projects which are hiring WWE names are working closely to “coordinate schedules, preserve WWE storylines and continuity, and ensure all stakeholders (the talent, WWE, and outside projects) are aligned.” We will continue to provide more updates on Liv Morgan in Hollywood as they become available.
