Trump nicknames are flying. CNN panelist has a new one: ‘Whiny titty baby’

written by TheFeedWired

Donald Trump — who sees himself as the master of branding and nicknames — has been branded deftly himself over the past few weeks. MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell called him “Donny Two Dolls” after Trump told American families that they likely will have to suck it up at Christmas and limit their children to two dolls and five pencils. Wall Street investors, bragging that they’ve made money during the Trump Tariff Turmoil revealed how they’ve brilliantly played the market — by relying on their rule of thumb: TACO.

Trump Always Chickens Out. That nickname and Trump’s seething reaction to it blew up the internet on Wednesday like it was an Elon Musk SpaceX rocket. And now, CNN panelist Jennifer Welch has a new label for Trump: In a segment during Wednesday night’s broadcast of CNN NewsNight, referee Abby Phillip’s roundtable debated the merits of Trump’s lawsuit against Paramount because 60 Minutes edited an interview with then Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris during the campaign.

Trump was offered $15 million to settle, but he says he wants $25 million and an apology. As Trump loyalist Kevin O’Leary insisted that the editing was nefarious and others rolled their eyes and said TV interviews are edited all the time — Fox New has edited Trump interviews to make him sound more coherent, by the way — Welch asked O’Leary a pointed question. “How do you guys constantly defend the biggest whining titty baby.

He whines and cries non-stop. He’s the president of the United States … and you’re defending that?” As other guests laughed, O’Leary returned to his talking points about the interview. “Did people lose their jobs at 60 Minutes, yes or no?

Yes," O’Leary said. “Was it a word salad, yes or no? Yes.” “He’s a whiner and it’s pathetic that you defend it,” Welch said.

O’Leary insists that the show’s executive producer, Bill Owens, was “whacked.” Owens said in his resignation announcement that he quit because of pressure from above to go easy on Trump. That removed his ability to “make independent decisions based on what was right for 60 Minutes, right for the audience.” Trump, as president, has incessantly complained about the treatment he has received from the media, which many would insist has been too accommodating and has “sanewashed” his diminished mental acuity and inability to understand policy at any real depth. In this term, he has banned certain media from White House briefings and insulted reporters when they’re asked tough questions.

Trump has added lawyers and judges and federal employees to an inexhaustible list of those who have wronged him, and he spoke often during the campaign about getting revenge and retribution. Our journalism needs your support. Please subscribe today to NJ.com.
