Tom Brady Lists Ray Lewis, Aaron Donald Among NFL Players He Was Afraid to Get Hit By

written by TheFeedWired

Even the greatest quarterback of all-time doesn't like to be hit by the NFL's elite defenders. Tom Brady opened up about which defenders he was afraid to get hit by during a discussion with Logan Paul (18:25 mark) and named Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh, J.J. Watt and Haloti Ngata. Notably, he also said, "Ray Lewis was at the top."

Lewis is a Hall of Famer and was seen as one of the most intimidating defensive players in NFL history. His overall speed, versatility and power allowed him to stuff the run, attack the quarterback and even drop back in coverage at times, and he was a nightmare for every signal-caller he faced. Even one as great as Brady.

While Brady was known for getting the ball out quickly and reading defenses efficiently enough to find the openings before the pass-rush arrived, he wasn't going to avoid sacks and hits every time over the course of a 23-year career. In fact, he was sacked 565 times during his illustrious career. Yet those pass-rushers and defenders such as Lewis, Watt, Donald, Suh and Ngata didn't stop him from amassing a list of accomplishments that included seven Super Bowl titles, three MVPs, five Super Bowl MVPs and 15 Pro Bowl nods.
