Titled “The Curicksous Case of Bethjamin Button,” episode 6 pays playful homage to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, according to the episode trailer. As the title teases, both Beth and Space Beth dive into a literal or metaphorical “regression” — be it age, emotion, or identity. While Morty and Summer (the ‘brohs’) hit up a bizarre theme park that Rick built or inherited, the Beths remain home—and things get weird, introspective, and layered.
Last week’s episode 5 featured Rick spotting a high-value Hypercore locked inside a cryosleep spaceship and convincing Morty to help him break in. Morty accidentally blows the charges early, triggering alarms and waking the alien crew. Rick and Morty had to come up with a fast plan.
