We all have eyes. Those of us of a certain age, in most cases, have attained a distinct level of knowledge, thus, a modicum of intellectual intelligence. So, tell me, why are we allowing the dismantling of our established democratic system?
Don't get me wrong; we needed some form of governmental downsizing. But not what we are being subjected to, with such haste and indiscretion. ADVERTISEMENT The Constitution is an extremely well-crafted document, judiciously designed to preclude what we are currently witnessing.
The envelope has been pushed. The probing, via multiple executive orders, has peppered our system of laws, seeking weakness. The branches of our government have been separated for a reason.
Our framers were able to foresee such a possibility. We must, as a nation, be able to follow the rule of law and adhere to them. Yet, the political majority in all branches have bent the knee.
They have relinquished their oaths to their constituents and have allowed the empty platitudes of a theoretical greater collective to deceive them. If there is no rule of law, there is no Constitution. And if there is no Constitution, (add your own response here, with your own modicum of intellectual intelligence).
