Several federal officials arrested a Fall River man who allegedly is in the country illegally. Officers with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security assisted in an arrest of a man who faces charges of assault and battery on a family member, strangulation/suffocation, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Authorities have not revealed the name of the man, what country he is from, or where he is currently in custody.

There have been several arrests involving ICE over the past few weeks in Southern New England. One man was back on April 24, while was taken into custody on Monday, April 14.
