As for the reason why 9-1-1 won't be airing a new episode tonight, it's due to the fact the show is on hiatus for a week. And given how heavy the previous 9-1-1 episode was for fans, it made sense for the show to give viewers some breathing room before a new episode drops on ABC. "No one talk to me," read the Instagram caption when the show revealed the hiatus on April 17.

"#911onABC will be back with an all-new episode on Thursday, May 1." So, what can fans expect from 9-1-1 now that the patriarch of the 118 is gone? Well, in a new promo for the upcoming installment (titled "The Last Alarm"), viewers will get to see the rest of Bobby's team mourn his loss when they attend his funeral.

What's more, viewers will get to see how Athena and Chimney grieve being the last ones to see Bobby alive. Well, we're certainly in for an emotional rollercoaster next week!
