Pete Buttigieg is ruffling feathers at Fox News again. Buttigieg made national headlines after his noteworthy appearance on Andrew Schultz’s “Flagrant” podcast this week. Buttigieg, who served as transportation secretary in the Biden administration, received praise online for his conversation on the podcast that many describe as being a part of the “manosphere” that helped President Donald Trump win the election.
Buttigieg has often wandered into hostile territory for Democrats and made frequent appearances on Fox News in the lead-up to the election. Buttigieg has been applauded for his comments on Fox News, which he said during the podcast has not invited him back recently. “Like it’s all well and good for me to keep going on Fox News, and I will.
Although they don’t seem to be inviting me as much lately,” Buttigieg said on the “Flagrant” podcast. Schultz then suggested that Fox News was a coward for not having Buttigieg on with a vulgar insult. “Talk your sh-t, Pete!” Schultz added.
But some social media users claimed that Fox News contributors were irked by the comments made on the podcast. “Mayor Pete is not exactly the one you send out to get the young broke. I mean, you may as well send Dylan Mulvaney doing a makeup class,” Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo said, referring to a social media influencer at the center of a Bud Light controversy last year.
“It’s funny how he thought growing the beard would somehow change everything,” Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of “FOX & Friends Weekend,” added. Arroyo: Pete is not exactly the one you sent out to get the young bro crowd. You might as well send Dylan Mulvaney doing a makeup class.

Another user said: “Why don’t they have him on and say these things to his face?
we all know the answer. He would make them look even more foolish than they’ve made themselves out to be.” Buttigieg is seen as a possible contender for the 2028 presidential Democratic nomination as he continues his media blitz after the November election. He defended his decision to go on the “Flagrant” podcast despite acknowledging that its viewers may not agree with him politically.
“One thing that is clear from the last election is that my side of the aisle must examine not only what we have to say, but how and where we say it,” he wrote in an online post. “That’s why you can count on me to keep showing up – anywhere there’s a chance to have a real conversation with anyone willing to engage.” Our journalism needs your support.
