With the first rehearsals for the two semi-finals now complete, the excitement in Basel continues! Today, it’s time for the countries competing in the first half of the second semi-final to return to the stage for their second rehearsal, while the Big 5 and host country Switzerland will take to the Eurovision 2025 stage for the very first time. This year’s rehearsals follow the same two-phase structure introduced in 2023 in Liverpool.

The first phase took place over four days and included the initial rehearsals of all semi-final participants. Now in the second phase (from Wednesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 10), we’re seeing: Second rehearsals for all semi-final entries, and First and second rehearsals for the Big 5 and Switzerland, who are automatically qualified for the Grand Final. As was the case last year, the press centre opens only after all first and second rehearsals are complete.

Until then, fans and accredited journalists will rely solely on official footage provided by the EBU and updates from the Reddit Live Blogs. Thursday, May 8 – Rehearsal Schedule (CET) A total of 15 countries will rehearse on the St. Jakobshalle stage, starting with Australia and ending with Cyprus, one of the day’s most anticipated entries.
