written by TheFeedWired

Both of the Cleveland Browns' two rookie quarterbacks are officially members of the team. Dillon Gabriel inked his rookie deal with the Browns on Wednesday as the rookie prepares for a four-way quarterback battle that also features Shedeur Sanders. While Sanders signed a four-year, $4.6 million rookie contract last month, Spotrac (h/t P.J.

Ziegler of Fox 8) had Gabriel's contract value at $6.2 million. The Browns picked Gabriel in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft after a successful collegiate career. Gabriel spent three years at UCF, two seasons at Oklahoma and rounded out his college career with Oregon last season.

With the Ducks, Gabriel threw for 3,857 yards, 30 touchdowns and just six interceptions on his way to being named a Heisman finalists. He added 149 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. After drafting Gabriel in the third round, Cleveland decided to make its quarterback room even deeper by selecting Sanders in the fifth round following an unexpected slide.

The addition of both Gabriel and Sanders this offseason gives the Browns one of the most interesting quarterback rooms in the league. Along with Gabriel and Sanders, Cleveland has veteran Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Deshaun Watson. While Watson's season is in question due to an injury, Gabriel, Sanders, Flacco and Pickett should all be in the running for QB1.
