Anti-Hindu parade in Toronto: ‘Will Mark Carney’s Canada be any different from Justin Trudeau’s?’

Even before officially consolidating his stand as the full-term prime minister of Canada, Mark Carney established how “incredibly important” it was to reset diplomatic ties with India. His remarks signalling the revival of India-Canada relations swept in like fresh air in the wake of former PM Justin Trudeau blatantly accusing the Indian government of being involved in the killing of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. However, just days after Mark Carney’s Liberal Party won the federal election in Canada, disruptions caused by an “anti-Hindu parade” in Toronto made headlines.

Anti-Hindu parade in Toronto Clashing with those new hopes, visuals of the demonstration in Canada’s Malton Gurdwara, Toronto, emerged on social media on Sunday (local time). Canadian journalist Daniel Bordman shared the video on X, while questioning if Prime Minister Mark Carney’s treatment of the Khalistani issue be any different from how Trudeau dealt with it. “The Jihadis rampaging through our streets have done significant damage to the social fabric running around threatening any Jews they can find.

But the Khalistanis are giving them a good run for their money on most hateful foreign funded menace to society. Will Mark Carney’s Canada be any different from Justin Trudeau’s?” Bordman wrote on X. His response followed a previous post shared by another user, which alleged “blatant anti-Hindu hatred” at the hands of a “Khalistani terrorist group.” The Jihadis rampaging through our streets have done significant damage to the social fabric running around threatening any Jews they can find.

‘Khalistani vandalism’ Last month, Bordman also shed light on the Lakshmi Narayan temple in Surrey, British Columbia, being vandalised for the third time. The walls of the establishment were reportedly marred with pro-Khalistani graffiti. Upon visiting the site, the Canadian journalist noted that while the vandalism “had already been covered up,” some broken glasses were left behind.

A security camera is also said to have been stolen from the premises. Per his account, the temple management erased the graffiti from the walls before the police could assess the scene. “I went to the Lakshmi Mandir in Surrey that was vandalised last night by Khalistanis.

This is the third time it has been vandalised. I spoke to management and the devotees and they do not feel like the police or the political establishment cares at all,” he wrote in a post at the time. Additionally, he pointed out that even a Gurudwara in Vancouver had been vandalised by Khalistanis.
