A crucial piece to the 2025 Dallas Cowboys puzzle is receiving direct help from a franchise legend and NFL great

written by TheFeedWired

Even with George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, and Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys offense has questions to answer. Will Pickens behave? Are their running backs enough?

Can Jake Ferguson bounce back after a down year? None of those is the most important one. The biggest question surrounding the Cowboys offense ahead of the 2025 NFL season is: Can the tackles hold up in pass protection?

Mostly, it's second-year left tackle who is an unknown, Tyler Guyton. During his rookie season, Guyton showed flashes of his athleticism but struggled enough to where the coaching staff rotated him in and out of the lineup even when the season was lost. However, we knew Guyton would take time to develop before emerging as a quality offensive tackle.

The question is now, how long will they have to wait? Will the Cowboys have a subpar offensive tackle blocking Dak Prescott's blindside for the second year in a row? Well, we might have a long way to go before answering that question but we do know Guyton received help from a franchise legend and future NFL Hall of Famer: Tyron Smith.

Guyton posted in his Instagram multiple pictures of him practicing and in one slide, he's captured working one-on-one with Smith at a practice field.
