Report: Four Nebraska football players enter transfer portal Courtesy Husker Athletics LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four Husker football players have entered the transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reported Tuesday. Tight end Ian Flynt, defensive lineman David Borchers, wide receiver Hayes Miller and cornerback Evan Taylor are leaving Nebraska.
All four players redshirted in the 2024 season. Borchers and Taylor didn’t see any playing time, while Flynt and Miller each played in one game. Two wide receivers — Alex Bullock, a Creighton Prep alum, and Hardley Gilmore — have also entered the transfer portal this month.
Some other notable transfer portal entires this offseason include Dante Dowdell, Princewell Umanmielen and Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda. The Huskers have also added a few players from the transfer portal, like Alabama offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett and Oklahoma edge rusher Dasan McCullough.
