White Fox Marvel Marvel Rivals doesn’t always do the most mainstream of characters in the universe, from Peni Parker to Luna Snow. But new leaks suggest that we are getting into even more random territory, should these heroes come to fruition down the road. Courtesy of the permanently reliable X0XLEAK, we have the following Marvel characters which also have at least names for this movesets.

White Fox – This would be heading back to Korea, similar to Luna Snow, for a character based on the legend of the nine-tailed fox, and White Fox was created as recently as 2014. She’s a shapeshifter who was eventually recruited by the Avengers. Amarath Marvel Amaranth – A witch who was the former apprentice of Scarlet Witch.

She can suppress other magic abilities and spark madness in enemies. She can also fly. Hive Marvel Hive – Hive was created to “physically embody the ideals of HYDRA.” He was technically, briefly in the MCU in Agents of SHIELD.

He’s a collection of parasites and they can be used as projectile weapons. He can infect other humans with his parasites. Armor Marvel Armor – An X-Men member and Japanese mutant who can generate psionic armor that gives her superhuman abilities including immense protection and powerful blows.

Forge Marvel Forge – I will not put him in the “random” category here as clearly he is an X-Men staple to some extent. He’s a time traveler with immense powers relating to building and controlling technology. What roles would each play?

I’m not entirely sure. White Fox and Forge strike me as Duelists, Hive as a Vanguard and Amaranth as a Strategist. Very, very obviously Armor would be a Vanguard.

In general, the amount of information about them is minimal, indicating they would be very far off. It’s also important to remember that these five join a huge list of characters that have also leaked in the files that have not made it to the game yet, and even with Rivals saying it will introduce a new character a month, this is over two years of content. The list as it stands: Angela Hit-Monkey Deadpool Captain Marvel Phoenix/Jean Grey Valkyrie MODOK Blade Jia Jing Paste Pot Pete Colossus Locus Beast Nightcrawler Jubilee Rogue Gambit Plus these new five, so 22 total, unless I missed any.

I do think Marvel Rivals runs somewhat of a risk dipping into Marvel characters that are too obscure and their addition may not get players all that excited. That said, with a new hero out every single month, that probably doesn’t matter much since so many will be dumped on the game, including known quantities, very frequently.
