China on Sunday called for de-escalation between India and Pakistan following heightened tensions over the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people dead and several injured. Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had held a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Beijing’s appeal comes at a time when India has vowed stringent action against the perpetrators.
