Blackpink Spotify Hacked! BLINKs Worried After Kiss Of Life Replaces Banner Hinting At N-Word Controversy Targeting K-Pop Blackpink 's official Spotify account got hacked on Thursday sending ripples across its fandom. BLINKs woke up to the news on Thursday that left many worried.

That's because the changes which were made to its handle weren't something anyone would expect. Blackpink's Spotify account hacked On April 24, fans noticed questionable changes on the account that pertained to controversies plaguing the K-pop industry right now. When one visits the page, Blackpink's photo from its Shut Down promotion appears as its main display picture.

But, it soon refreshes to another band, KISS OF LIFE . Point to note is that the image used was from its recent cultural appropriation controversy that happened post its member Julie's birthday celebration. Changes that were made in the profile page In the description column, while Blackpink's photo from a past comeback still remains, the words link back to the group's recent controversy when three of the members' pre-debut videos saying the racial N-word were released that lead to a lot of furore.

That's not all. The hack also affected the individual accounts of Blackpink members namely Jennie, Rose, Jisoo and Lisa, along with profiles of other YG Entertainment groups like TREASURE and BABYMONSTER. Many soon started speculating that the hack was an outburst of YG Entertainment's recent leaks.

The label is yet to officially react or issue a statement on the hack. Worried BLINKs demanded quick action The unexpected trouble led to Balckpink fans expressing worry on social media. Many took to X (formerly Twitter) and demanded action to safeguard their favourite K-pop group.

One user wrote, "There's something wrong with YG , a few days ago their files and clips of BP got leaked now the Spotify of their artist got hacked . And that company hasn't taken a single step against anything yet , not a single lawsuit to save their artist." Another fan wrote, "Ahhh guys PLEASE @ygent_official TAKE A QUICK ACTION THIS IS GETTING WAY OUT OF HAND ESPECIALLY THE CLIPS THING IM SO TRAUMATISED RN."

About Blackpink's racial controversy Blackoink recently found itself embroiled in a backlash whenan ex-YG Entertainment employee allegedly leaked some old pre-debut videos of Lisa, Rose and Jennie using the N-word. This lead to many blaming the company and calling out its training methods along with slamming the group's cultural sensitivity.
