The highly anticipated superfight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford is just a few months away, and new details emerged Tuesday. Ring magazine announced that the Sept. 13 bout for Alvarez's undisputed and Ring super middleweight titles will be streamed live on Netflix in partnership with Riyadh Season. The fight between Alvarez and Crawford will be co-promoted by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh's Riyadh Season, UFC president and CEO Dana White and Sela, a privately owned Saudi Arabian entertainment company.

The fight will take place in Las Vegas, but the venue has yet to be announced. "On September 13, Canelo and Crawford, two legends of boxing, will finally compete against each other in the fight of the century," Alalshikh said in a statement, per ESPN's Andreas Hale. "Alongside Dana White and Sela, we will deliver something truly incredible in Las Vegas for fans around the world to enjoy through Netflix."

It was also announced that Alvarez and Crawford will take part in a three-city international press tour later this month to promote the fight. The tour will begin in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 20 before heading to the United States for Fanatics Fest in New York on Sunday, June 22 and ending in Las Vegas on Friday, June 27. The fight will determine pound-for-pound supremacy, and both Alvarez and Crawford expressed excitement for the chance to test themselves against the best of the best.

"I’m super happy to be making history again and this time on a Riyadh Season Card that will be broadcast on Netflix," Alvarez said in a release. "On September 13, I’m ready to show once again that I am the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world."
