Following the lead of the federal government, the Sindh government has officially announced Eid-ul-Azha holidays from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9 for all provincial government institutions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday. According to the notification issued on Thursday, all public offices and institutions operating under the Sindh government will remain closed for four days to allow citizens to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with religious fervour and family gatherings. This announcement comes after the moon of Zul-Hijjah 1446 Hijri was sighted in Pakistan on May 28, confirming that Eid-ul-Azha will be observed on Monday, June 7 across the country.
