Leave it to Miley Cyrus to put a rock and roll spin on jorts. The Something Beautiful singer stepped out in New York on Wednesday wearing a distressed, dark wash version of the summer staple. Cyrus paired her tiny cutoffs with a beaded backless halter top, a wide belt, and knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.

She left little to the imagination in the new clip, wearing feathered assless chaps and a bra encrusted with turquoise stones. "This is every fantasy," Cyrus says in the video, admiring her Thierry Mugler outfit.

Pulled straight from the designer's spring 1992 collection, Cyrus wears several of his vintage looks in her Something Beautiful visualizer. In a recent interview, Cyrus opened up about a rare medical condition that prevents her from touring. On Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show, she revealed that her trademark raspy voice is caused by a medical condition called Reinke’s edema—and that the disorder has made it near-impossible for her to go on tour.

Opening up about the “very large polyp” growth on her vocal chords, which Cyrus called “a part of my unique anatomy,” the “Flowers” singer got real about the pros and cons of the health condition. “[It’s] given me a lot of the tone and texture that has made me who I am, but it’s extremely difficult to perform with because it’s like running a marathon with ankle weights on,” she explained. However, Cyrus also credited the condition for creating the “ultimate vocal fry,” noting, “I do have this blessing of a condition that I live with.
