written by TheFeedWired

The Ohio State Buckeyes have served as a production line for premier wide receivers in recent years. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka have each gone in the first round in the last two drafts, while Jeremiah Smith is the most feared wide receiver in college football after an outstanding freshman season that inspired the Buckeyes to national championship glory. Kayden Dixon-Wyatt (Oakland, Calif.) a four-star recruit in the 2026 class, has committed to Ohio State, per Hayden Fawcett of On3. Ohio State head coach Ryan Day.Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Dixon-Wyatt picked the Buckeyes ahead of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oregon Ducks, his commitment to Ohio State representing a massive upset. Indeed, Dixon-Wyatt had been predicted by On3 to land with the Ducks.

Oregon was given a 91.2% shot of securing Dixon-Wyatt's commitment, compared to just 3% for the Buckeyes. The 2025 class saw Ohio State add another four wideouts, the headliner being five-star Quincy Porter (Oradell, N.J.).

For wide receivers, there are few better places than Ohio State, and Dixon-Wyatt's decision is further evidence of that. Related: Ohio State Football Suffers Setback at the Hands of Notre Dame
