Instead of just being artists under big companies, they are starting their own agencies. This shows a new wave of independence and entrepreneurship in the K-pop industry. These idols are taking control of their careers and building their own paths.

It’s a big step for them and the industry. If you want to know more about them, keep reading! Junho From 2PM Recently, 2PM’s Junho decided to start his own company.

After being with JYP Entertainment for 17 years, he’s now in charge of his solo work. As per Allkpop, even though he has his agency, JYP will still handle his work in Japan. The name hasn’t been out yet.

We can’t wait for it! BLACKPINK’s Lisa Lisa from BLACKPINK also launched her own company called LLOUD. She started it in February 2024.

Jennie Of BLACKPINK Similarly, Jennie, another BLACKPINK member, has her own agency named Odd Atelier (OA). She created it in November 2023. OA will manage the K-pop idol’s solo activities.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo The list of BLACKPINK members starting their own agency doesn’t end here. Jisoo, the oldest member, also started her own agency called BLISSOO in February 2024. Her brother is also involved in running this agency.

INB100 manages his solo activities and also those of his bandmates Xiumin and Chen.
