Go Youn-Jung Reveals Her Artistic Side On You Quiz On The Block, Timothee Chalamet's Portrait Leaves Hosts, Fans SHOCKED Go Youn-Jung has impressed viewers and critics with her performance in the latest medical drama Resident Playbook . This, after the 29-year-old turned heads with other Korean titles previously. But, there's more to the actress and her craft.

Go Youn-Jung's artistic side Youn-Jung, who made her variety show debut with tvN's You Quiz on the Block , had a lot to surprise her fans and hosts Yoo Jae-Suk and Jo Se-Ho. On its April 30 episode, Youn-Jung revealed that before venturing into acting, she was an art student. In fact she even displayed some of her artwork that included a detailed portrait of Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet, which left her fans amazed for being too realistic.

She also sketched the hosts on the show. Seeing their drawings, Yoo joked, "You made us look like babies!" Go Youn-Jung ventured into acting Youn-Jung ended up changing career paths after her friend from photography suggested she apply to UNIV20 magazine.

"I asked if just anyone could apply, and surprisingly, I got in," she said. Casting inquiries started coming in, and one such was from the CEO of her current agency. "He told me not to say I couldn’t do it before trying.

So I thought, why not? I took a break from school and started taking acting classes," she revealed. About Go Youn-Jung's acting projects Youn-Jung currently plays the carefree, laid-back resident who slowly sheds her emotional guard in Netflix's Resident Playbook, a spinoff of Hospital Playlist.

The show also stars Shin Si-Ah, Han Ye-Ji, Kang You-Seok, and Jung Joon-Won. Post its release on April 12, it has been performing well, emerging as one of the most watched non-English language titles on the OTT platform. Youn-Jung's previous titles include Alchemy of Souls, Movi and Sweet Home.
